Nursery’s Riverboat Trip

Nursery have started their topic on different types of transport and this week the focus has been on water transport. They learnt the names of different water transport and had fun making model boats to float in the water tray, painting and singing the rhyme Row, Row, Row Your Boat. To conclude this area of transport, they had a wonderful trip on the River Thames on a riverboat. The children loved it and saw different types of water transport as well as enjoying the sights of London. The children have increased their vocabulary, rhymes and alliteration by learning words such as sloppy –slappy, splish, splash and splosh.
